About the Journal

The Global TESOL and Applied Linguistics Review (GTALR) is a scholarly journal dedicated to the dynamic intersection of technology and language education. The primary focus is to advance knowledge in Applied Linguistics and TESOL, with a specific emphasis on emerging trends such as AI-mediated translation, AI literacy, and automated writing evaluation. We invite original research articles, critical reviews, and theoretical contributions that provide new insights into how technology transforms the landscape of language teaching and learning in diverse global contexts.

We are committed to the principle of open access, believing that making research freely available to the public fosters a more inclusive and global exchange of knowledge. As such, GTALR provides immediate open access to all published content, ensuring that scholarly work is accessible to readers and researchers worldwide without financial barriers.

To maintain the highest standards of academic excellence, all manuscripts submitted to TALR undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. Each submission is evaluated by at least two independent experts in the field, ensuring that every published article meets the requirements for scientific rigor, originality, and academic integrity.

Regarding intellectual property, authors who publish with GTALR retain full copyright of their work. By submitting, authors grant the journal the right of first publication and agree to license their work under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0).
